The National Measurement Institute (NMI) provide:
- training courses in biological, chemical and physical metrology (non-accredited)
- verifier and weighbridge operator training (non-accredited)
- nationally accredited assessment for verifiers and weighbridge operators (RTO code 91419)

Customised training
We can deliver in-house training to meet your specific needs or view the training run by National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
Non-accredited courses
Our face-to-face courses start at 9 am and end by 5 pm.
The price includes refreshments, lunch and learning materials.

Verifier and weighbridge operator training
We offer face-to-face courses for:

- Verifying bulk flowmetering systems—gravimetric method
- Verifying bulk flowmetering systems—volumetric method
- Verifying LPG bulk flowmetering systems
- Verifying LPG dispensers
- Verifying milk flowmetering systems
- Verifying multi-dimensional measuring instruments
- Verifying weighbridges
- Verifying wheeled loader weighing instruments
We offer online courses for:
- Verifying fuel dispensers
- Verifying non-automatic weighing instrument
- Verifying point of sale systems
- Weighbridge operators
Online courses can be accessed for up to four months.
Nationally accredited assessment
NMI is a registered training organisation (RTO code 91419). We offer nationally accredited assessment for verifiers and weighbridge operators.
Before you enrol for assessment, you should develop the skills and knowledge needed to meet the assessment requirements.
