NMI reference materials
Our reference materials have demonstrated homogeneity and stability.
We supply reference materials with product information and safety data sheets.
Our reference materials are available globally through LGC Standards, our international partner.
Certified reference materials
We produce certified reference materials (CRMs) with established metrological traceability to the SI unit for mass (kg). We report all purity values, stated as a mass fraction, with the associated uncertainty in the certificate of analysis.
Restrictions on issue
The steroid and steroid metabolite reference materials are generally available to laboratories accredited by the World Anti-doping Authority (WADA) or the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
If your laboratory does not have WADA or IOC accreditation you must provide documented evidence, signed by the company manager, that you will not:
- use these materials for unethical purposes related to commercial human sports drug analysis
- provide the materials to other laboratories who may be engaged in this analysis.
