IUGOTEC PTY LTD |
Iugotec Pty Ltd is addressing the problem of verifying compliance with aircraft disinsection regulations by developing a portable sensor system for rapidly measuring insecticide residues on aircraft surfaces. By harnessing state-of-the-art sensor technology rapid, quantitative measurements will be possible without the need for complex and time-consuming sample preparation steps. This will allow non-technical staff at Australian airports to immediately determine whether aircraft have been adequately treated to prevent introduction of exotic mosquitos. The Business Research and Innovation Initiative support will be used to help iugotec develop a working prototype and demonstrate their solution to the challenge.
