In 2014, the Australian Government released offshore acreage for greenhouse gas storage assessment acreage. These areas are in the Gippsland Basin, offshore Victoria. Since acreage was awarded in 2015 they have been investigated to see if they are suitable to store greenhouse gas.
Between May 2017 and June 2018 we conducted research into the drivers and barriers for small to medium enterprises when collaborating with publicly funded research organisations.
Our National Survey of Research Commercialisation (NSRC) collects data from Australian universities, medical research institutes and major publicly funded research agencies.
The data provides information about how the research sector is working with industry to share knowledge, and commercialise research.
The Evaluation Strategy 2017-21 provides a framework to guide the performance measurement of our programs and policies. Evaluations, reviews and performance monitoring aim to ensure programs are delivering outcomes as intended. These activities also inform new policies and program design.

Released in 2017, Australia 2030: Prosperity through Innovation details ways to strengthen Australia’s ability to innovate. The Plan makes 30 recommendations, each with an aim to generate and capture the benefits of innovation for all Australians by 2030.
