Two new collaborative National Blockchain Roadmap Working Groups have been established to support the National Blockchain Roadmap Steering Committee.
They will progress analysis on use cases of blockchain technology in Australia, with a focus on blockchain as an enabling technology to support cybersecurity applications, and help businesses ease regulatory compliance burden. This is in addition to two Working Groups established in August on supply chains and credentialing. They link to Signposts two and three of the National Blockchain Roadmap.

The Steering Committee selected members following an Expression of Interest consultation process. A panel of government representatives, and relevant organisations such as Standards Australia, will observe the groups to provide real-time feedback and identify cross-cutting issues as they emerge. The groups will develop and present an initial discovery report to the Steering Committee in early 2021.
