business.gov.au is an online government resource for the Australian business community which has been operating for 20 years.

The Small Business Advisory Group was announced in December 2018. It advised the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology and Minister for Small and Family Business, Skills and Vocational Education on the role of business.gov.au in supporting small and family businesses.

The Small Business Advisory Group conducted a review to assess whether small and family business owners are being supported effectively by business.gov.au.

The report outlines stakeholder perspectives on the site’s strengths and weaknesses, and emerging digital opportunities. It also recommends areas of improvement to enrich the service experience of small and family business owners.
