The calendar invites organisations across Australia to submit their own AI-related events. It also brings together NAIC’s events and webinars in one place.

Last year, the calendar was only open for events during Australia’s AI Month. With AI now woven into every aspect of work and life, NAIC is opening the calendar year-round to reflect its growing relevance.

NAIC Executive Director Lee Hickin said the calendar reflects a shift in how Australians can collaborate and learn about AI.

‘AI is already transforming how we work and live,’ Mr Hickin said. ‘This calendar makes sure everyone has a chance to be part of that transformation.’

The launch supports NAIC’s mission to position Australia as a global leader in trusted, secure and responsible AI. It complements national initiatives aimed at boosting understanding, development and adoption of AI across industries.

For startups exploring new tools, small businesses looking to improve operations, or our workforce seeking to build their AI literacy, the calendar offers a practical gateway to learning and collaboration. It’s part of NAIC’s commitment to showcasing, connecting and celebrating Australia's AI capabilities, talent and potential.

The calendar joins a growing suite of resources including the re-launched AI Directory. These tools help businesses find local AI providers and turn ideas into impact.

AI Week 2025 will take place from 20–24 October. It will shine a spotlight on practical life and work hacks designed to help you save time and build confidence with AI tools.
