AI event registration form

Overview 

Use this form to submit your AI-related event to the National AI Centre’s calendar—a curated showcase of events that build skills, spark innovation, and highlight Australia’s AI talent and capabilities.

If your organisation is running an event about AI, we’d love to hear about it. This could include in-person and online events and anything from workshops to fireside chats, from hackathons to panel discussions. 

Types of organisations we’re keen to hear from include, but are not limited to:  

• small and medium enterprises
• large enterprises
• AI industry
• software and services
• academia
• start-ups
• innovation hubs and precincts
• industry associations
• business councils
• community groups. 

We will list eligible events on our AI event calendar.

Eligibility 

To be part of the AI event calendar your event needs to comply with our guidelines: 

• Location: The event must be held in Australia either in person or online. It can be in any state or territory, provided it is accessible to the target audience.
• Content: Events should explore artificial intelligence and its diverse applications, with a commitment to ethical and responsible use.
• Format: The event can be any format. For example, workshops, fireside chats, hackathons, panel discussions and showcases of AI capabilities.
• Engagement: The event should aim to engage one or more of the following audiences: 
  • small and medium businesses (1-200 employees)
  • enterprises (over 200 employees)
  • startups and entrepreneurs
  • industry professionals
  • policymakers
  • academics
  • students
  • general public.

Content criteria 

Please follow our editorial standards when submitting content to the directory: 

• Apply the Australian Government Style Manual. Please pay particular attention to how to format lists.
• Choose everyday words and avoid jargon.
• Write short sentences (25 words or less).
• Use active rather than passive voice. 

Evaluation process 

We will evaluate your registration against the guidelines and content criteria. If we decide your event is suitable, we’ll publish the event details on our AI event calendar. We may also promote it through our communication channels. 

We reserve the right to edit your content to meet standards. Any edits will not materially misrepresent the submitter’s intent or content. Please contact us if you are not satisfied with your entry and we will work with you to refine it.
