Federated Authentication Service enables a person’s existing network login to be used as a single sign-on. They will not need to re-enter a password when accessing government online services.
User Authentication Service verifies a business user’s online identity (using an approved credential such as AUSkey or Medicare) when they login to an online government service.
Signature Verification Services verifies a business user’s digital signature on online PDF or XML forms. The digital credential is legally equivalent to a traditional signature.
Security Token Service generates an electronic security token for secure and seamless transactions between parties.
Timestamping Service records the National Measurement Institute (NMI) certified date and time for an electronic transaction. Agencies can use the timestamp as evidence of the date and time that a transaction was completed online.
