Case study: Our recruitment reform project

We are attracting a diverse and high performing workforce by enhancing our recruitment offering.

Our Recruitment Reform Project is an important initiative under Pillar 3 of our People Strategy.

The project aims to develop and deliver an enhanced recruitment offering over the next 8 months. It follows an internal audit on recruitment processes, completed (and endorsed) in March 2020. After analysing the current state and consolidating current recruitment trends, challenges and experiences, we started to develop our first Recruitment Strategy.

The Recruitment Strategy will enable our department to embed inclusive recruitment practices. This will ensure we recruit a more diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We also want to ensure that the candidates we hire are motivated by, and embody, the values of our culture.

Through these reforms, our workforce will have the right skills at the right place at the right time, to deliver on our priorities.
