Government response
The government notes recommendations 1-21 made by the committee in its report.
However, given the passage of time since this report was tabled, a substantive government response to these recommendations is no longer appropriate.
Introduction
The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Industry, Innovation, Science and Resources prepared a report titled ‘Keep it in the regions: mining and resources industry support for businesses in regional economies’.
The committee published its report in November 2018.
The Australian Government tabled this response in the House of Representatives on 24 June 2024.
