The Australian Government has released a blueprint describing what governments, academia and industry can do to grow a vibrant RNA research and industry ecosystem.
‘Australia’s RNA Blueprint: Understanding our Ribonucleic acid (RNA) potential’ adds to the Medical Science Co-investment Plan released earlier this year.
The blueprint focuses on actions relating to 5 goals:
- connect and promote our National RNA ecosystem
 - increase skills and access to infrastructure
 - improve research, translation and investment
 - lead RNA regulation and guidance development
 - build and strengthen international partnerships.

The blueprint complements initiatives to support innovation and expand domestic manufacturing. These include the National Reconstruction Fund and the Industry Growth Program.
