Government response: Productivity Commission Inquiry into Intellectual Property Arrangements
The Australian Government asked the Productivity Commission to undertake a public inquiry into Australia's IP system. The inquiry’s final report was handed to government on 23 September 2016, and publicly released 20 December 2016. Read the final report on the Productivity Commission’s website.
Following a public inquiry into Australia’s IP arrangements, the Government responded to the Productivity Commission’s recommendations.
Following the publication of the Government’s response, the department invited additional submissions.
