Our interactive decision tool helps public servants choose the best approach to engage with stakeholders and citizens. This will enable you to design and deliver fit-for-purpose engagement activities.
The guide walks you through 2 components:
- The diagnostic prompts you to think about the complexity of the problem, and the time and resources available. It then recommends the most suitable engagement approach.
- The catalogue directs you to potential engagement processes that complement the recommended engagement approach. For example, if the diagnostic recommends deliberative engagement, the catalogue helps you consider whether to do this through a workshop or citizens’ panel.
