Since 2016, CRC-P grants have helped fund new technology, products and services which support Australian businesses.

Cooperative Research Centre Project (CRC-P) grants support short term, industry-led research that leads to real world solutions. Projects from this round will help address Australia’s National Science and Research Priorities.

Round 17 grant recipients include:

  • Bygen will develop sustainable water treatments to remove PFAS.
  • Bulugudu will build an indigenous-led biomaterials supply chain and set up quality-controlled manufacturing for spinifex cellulose nanofibers.
  • Pegras Asia Pacific will scale-up tech to remove microplastics from wastewater.
  • Eyes of AI will develop the world’s first AI-driven early detection of gum disease.

Round 18 is expected to open later this year.
