Update: We have extended the consultation period until 10 October for the final 2 issues papers.
The issues papers further explore evidence and possible future directions for reform to increase the impact of the research, development and innovation (RD&I) system.
These papers build on feedback the panel received through a discussion paper earlier this year.
Issues papers cover:
- national coordination
- scaling our research, development and innovation (RD&I) system
- RD&I incentives
- investment and capital
- foundational research
- the role of government.
We’ll be releasing these papers throughout the public consultation period. You can provide a written submission on one or more of these papers.
The panel will provide recommendations or advice to government later this year.
