This proficiency test is part of our 2024 proficiency testing (PT) program for gas mixtures. The study is covered by our PT provider accreditation (ISO 17043).

Registrations close 1 April 2024.

Test materials

We’ll prepare and distribute each PT sample in a 0.5 L constant pressure cylinder (CPC).

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) samples will contain these components (nominal mole fractions only):

  • Ethane ≤ 0.5 %
  • n-Butane ≤ 0.5 %
  • Propane as balance.

Reference values for the comparison are traceable to the SI (International System of Units) registered in the KCDB (Key Comparison Database).
