World space week at the Australian Space Discovery Centre

Join the Australian Space Discovery Centre and Airbus for a hands on Mission to Mars schools workshop to celebrate World Space Week.

The Space Workshop is a robotics workshop offered by the Airbus Foundation for Years 7 – 10.

This workshop aims to introduce students to the world of robotics and the space industry. The students will investigate the design and abilities of the Ariane 5 rocket. The workshop will explore the whys and the hows of reaching Mars using advanced technologies in power, telecommunication and rockets.

Sessions are 75 minutes long, including a 45 minute workshop and 30 minutes to explore the Space Gallery.

Sessions take place on Wednesday October 13 and Thursday October 14, 2021. Schools must prebook sessions.
