Operation: Eyes on Earth workshop
Students will discover what it takes to build an earth observation satellite mission in this interactive design thinking workshop.

Working together, students will complete challenges and tasks across 6 mission planning phases:
- design
- assemble
- test
- launch
- operate
- close-out.
Pre-mission and post-mission resources will be provided so your students are prepared before coming, and so you can extend their learning back at school.
Duration: 90 minutes.
Capacity: 30 students.
Booking a session
School standard sessions and Operation: Eyes on Earth workshops are available:
- 10am and 11:30am Monday to Friday.
Teachers can book a session by emailing our team at book@discover.space.gov.au with:
- year level
- group size including adults and students
- choice of session (standard, workshop or virtual).
Our school programs are free of charge.
You will then be sent a Trybooking link to secure your session. Please note school bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance.
