$13.9 million in grants awarded to space manufacturers
First grant recipients announced today under the $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative.
We will support 4 space manufacturing projects under round 1 of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative.
4 space manufacturers will share $13.9 million in grants through round 1 of the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) Translation and Integration streams.
These grants will help Australian space manufacturers:
- grow
- integrate into global supply chains
- commercialise and seize new export opportunities.
This will build our local space industry and create skilled jobs for the future.
Further announcements of successful projects in other National Manufacturing Priority areas under the MMI Integration and Translation streams will follow.
