Australian manufacturers have one week to tell the Department of Health if they could pivot to make a future vaccine and/or treatments for COVID-19.

This request for information (RFI) will help the Australian Government identify potential assets in our fight against the pandemic.

The RFI seeks organisations already regulated, or likely to seek regulation, through the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

It wants to know about potential COVID-19 vaccine and treatment manufacture and supply, in particular:

  • manufacturer current capability and capacity
  • manufacturer willingness to expand, modify or repurpose for population-scale production

Submissions through AusTender close on 20 August, 2020.
