This guide is for external attendees using a web browser to join a department hosted videoconference.
The following steps enable you to join a videoconference using a web browser on a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
We recommend using Google Chrome web browser.
The videoconference organiser will send an email containing the videoconference link: for example:
Open the link in your device browser.
Enter your name, and select ‘Join meeting’
Give the site permission to access your camera and microphone
Give your browser permission to access your camera and microphone
Preview the camera and microphone, and test the speakers. Select ‘Join meeting’
The videoconference will run from your browser
