MEETING WITH KEY INDUSTRY PEAK BODIES 8 DECEMBER 2009 CANBERRA

The Built Environment Industry Innovation Council (BEIIC) agreed at its first meeting in October 2008 that ongoing communication with and between the peak bodies is critical for the sharing of knowledge and ideas and for encouraging collaboration between industry groups. A meeting with Key Industry Peak Bodies was organised in 2009 to provide a mechanism for the Council to engage with peak industry bodies. The majority of peak industry associations attended the meeting in Canberra on 8 December 2009. From this meeting a booklet has been developed in order to begin the process of sharing stories of innovation across the industry sector.
